Connecting an Autel charger to your OCPP platform
How to link an Autel unit to the CPMS of your choice, and what we need from you to do it.
- 01
Autel works with any CPMS
Every Autel unit speaks OCPP 1.6J, so you are not tied to one platform. Use the CPMS you already work with, or your customer's.
- 02
What we need from you
Send the OCPP url of your platform (ws or wss) and, if your platform requires it, an identity and password per charge point. That is all.
- 03
What we do
We configure the unit before delivery: OCPP url, back-end settings, power, charge mode and language. The charger announces itself on your platform at first start-up.
- 04
Following up through proxy urls
On request we place a proxy url between the unit and your platform. Your CPMS stays in control, while we can look at faults with you without sharing logins.
- 05
On site
Get the unit online over ethernet, wifi or the sim card, and check that the firewall allows outbound traffic to the OCPP url. A charge point that stays offline is nearly always a network issue.
- 06
Testing before handover
Start a session and check that it shows up in the platform with the right kWh and charge point number. Then test a remote stop and an RFID card.
