- AC charging
- Slow charging with alternating current. The car converts the power itself, so it takes a few hours.
- DC charging
- Fast charging with direct current. The unit handles the conversion, so it is much quicker.

What does kW mean on a charger?
kW is the power, so how fast the charger can deliver energy. More kW means shorter charging. A car never charges faster than its own maximum.
What is OCPP?
OCPP is an open language a charge point uses to talk to a management platform. Because Autel speaks OCPP, you choose your own platform and are not tied to one supplier.
What is the difference between a dispenser and a power cabinet?
In large systems the power sits in a separate cabinet. The dispensers at the parking bay are only the charge points. That way one large power block is shared across several cars.
