OCPP FREEDOM

OCPP freedom: no lock-in on your charging platform

Choosing hardware should not lock you into software. Autel chargers run OCPP on the platform of your choice. You send us the OCPP url and, on request, we configure and test the unit before delivery for 35 euro per unit (excl. VAT).

We do not sell our own charging platform and we do not require a subscription with us to use your units. Stay on your current CPMS, switch whenever you want, or run different customers on different platforms with the same hardware.

What OCPP freedom means in practice

OCPP 1.6J as standard, 2.0.1 where available

Every Autel unit speaks OCPP 1.6J over websockets with TLS. Newer DC units support OCPP 2.0.1, with smart charging and stronger firmware management.

You pick the platform

You send us the OCPP url, the password and the charge point names. We load them into the unit before it ships.

Switching stays possible

If your customer changes platform, we change the OCPP url. The hardware stays, the sessions continue.

Monitoring without taking over your platform

If you want us to watch along, we use a proxy url next to your platform. You keep the customer and the invoicing, we see the faults. 60 euro per AC connector and 96 euro per DC connector per year.

Modbus TCP/IP for any EMS

Every Autel charger can also be controlled via Modbus TCP/IP by any EMS system. You connect your energy manager or building management system directly to the chargers, without an extra layer.

No EMS yet? Ask Blulinc for a white label EMS dashboard. We deliver it under your own brand, you keep the customer relationship.

Charge cards and tariffs stay with you

Access, tariffs and roaming are set in your own platform. We supply the hardware, the configuration and charge cards if needed.

Eichrecht and MID where required

For public and semi-public billing we supply versions with MID metering and, where the law requires it, Eichrecht compliant metering with signed values.

How the connection works

You send the OCPP details

OCPP url, version, any password and the names you want for the charge points.

We configure and test on request

With the pre-configuration option (35 euro per unit, excl. VAT) we load the configuration and check that the unit registers on your platform. A sim card can be added, price on request.

Handover on site

After installation you run a test session. If anything sticks, we look along via the proxy url.
