Installing a DC fast charger: preparation and wiring
What to arrange up front: grid power, foundation, cooling and inspection.

Start with the grid
A DC unit needs three phase power and, at high output, its own transformer. Ask the grid operator for the available capacity early: it is usually the longest lead time in the project.

Foundation and placement
Provide a level foundation with ducts, room for the doors and free airflow around the unit. In the distributed systems the power cabinet sits away from the dispensers.

Cable routes
Between cabinet and dispensers the distance sets the cable size. Fix this in the drawing before the concrete work starts.

Cooling and noise
The DH480 runs without a fan, the DT800 and DT1500 are liquid cooled. Near homes, deliberately pick a quiet version and a good position.

Connecting to the platform
As with AC, we deliver the unit configured for your OCPP url and can follow up together through proxy urls.

Inspection and handover
Have the installation inspected under local rules, test every charge point with a vehicle or tester and document the measured values.
